Snacks & Lunch

Physical well-being and intellectual growth go hand in hand and healthy food options are an essential ingredient for both. At WAVES, it is our policy to provide wholesome food that tastes good. Breakfast will be varied on a daily basis and will consist of either idlis, dosas, sandwiches or cereal with dry fruits, nuts and milk, accompanied by lemonade or fruit juice.

Lunch will consist of one preparation each of cereals (rice and wheat), proteins(any of the variety of pulses), vitamins and minerals (a helping each of cooked vegetables, vegetable salad and fruits) and curd. Fried foods will be avoided except once a fortnight to indulge the taste buds. Children staying back for extended care will be provided with milk and cookies .

The aim would be to make eating an enjoyable peer-group activity, impart table manners and educate children about eating.
